"Rooted" represents stabilility , presence, and connection to your inner self. Like returning to your whole self before all of the prerequisites society has pressured upon us. It's also a respresentation of Earth, while "Moon" embodies intuition, emotional depth, our cyclical transformation. Together, they reflect harmony between strength and softness two energies I try to cultivate through yoga and in life.
The moon has always been a symbol of reflection and emotional wisdom for me. It's phases mirror the cycles of growth, rest, and renewal that I move through as a woman, mother, and teacher. Being Rooted reminds me to stay grounded in my body and in the present moment, even as I explore those deeper inner tides. Rooted Moon Yoga became a name that honors both my spiritual connection to the moon and my desire to help others ground into their inner wisdom and inner truth everyday.
Hi, my names Lindsay and I'm the founder of Rooted Moon Yoga. I am a 200hr RYT. Through my teaching, I invite empowerment, self trust, and deep presence. I hold space for you to soften into yourself and to remember what has always been true: that you are worthy, whole, and already complete. My work is an invitation to return to your body, your intuition, and your inner wisdom moving from a place of grounded self connection.
Born and raised in Texas I moved to Kentucky when I was in my late twenties. It was here through the forest that I really started reconnecting with my inner wisdom and remembering who I was. I was blessed with a beautiful pregnancy, the light of my life, the reason I work so hard to self realization, and creating a life I truly flourish in. It was one of the biggest transformations I've moved through so far and it has brought so much more depth and understanding into my life. I've also earned a degree in acting; another passion that was a catalyst in my growth. Understanding that everyday is a new growing experience I am so blessed in holding the opportunity to be able to hold space, presence, and bring knowledge to others.Â
